Meet the leadership
Alan Griefer
Chief Executive Officer & Founder
Alan is a veteran within the acquiring and payment processing spaces. With extensive knowledge of the industry, Alan is responsible for Maverick’s executive leadership. Prior to founding Maverick, Alan co-founded and sold another large payment processing company. With vast hands-on experience, running day-to-day operations, sales acumen, and entrepreneurial spirit, Alan is a leader and a mentor to everyone on the team.
Ben Griefer
Chief Operating Officer
Having grown up within the payments space, Ben has been with Maverick since its inception. Starting in sales, and working his way up through business development, operations, and executive management, Ben has been a catalyst and evangelist for innovation at Maverick and within the payments industry. Working with his father Alan, Ben grew the business while studying International Financial Management at the University of Southern California. Upon graduation from USC (go Trojans!) Ben joined the executive management team as Chief Operating Officer.
Maurice “Moe” Griefer
Chief Revenue Officer
Moe worked his way through the company, gaining insight and experience in sales and operations. Having joined Maverick after his successful graduation from USC with a degree in Business and Economics, Moe quickly found himself drawn to the financial elements of the business. As Chief Revenue Officer, a certified Payments Professional, and board member of the Electronic Transactions Association, Moe is an emerging leader within the industry and always willing to assist fellow team members.
